My mother's middle name was Esquebel. That just happens to be another spelling of Esquivel. Her full name was Judy Esquebel Hinojosa. She was the daughter of Fernando Hinojosa. He was supposedly Puerto Rican and was from California. If he were alive he would be close a hundred years old. Could be related but I don't know. Maybe this will help you out some.
