Great Great Grandparents were Joseph Slivensky born abt. 1840 in the Czechoslovakia region (probably Slovakia). He was married to Dorothy Turzak. They had four children that I knew about for sure, but there were probably others too.
The four that I know about are as followed:
1. Karol (Charles) Slivensky born in Slovakia and was married to Susanna Turzak. Karol and Susanna had six children:
A. Emilie (Emily born abt. 1873 Slovakia, d. 1965 Michigan
Married 1st to a Sam Lada, then 2nd to a Sam Zdravecky.
Emilie immigrated to the US in abt. 1883
She had a total of eight children with both husbands.
B. Alexander Slivensky Sr. born abt. 1879 Dopcina, Czechslovakia d. 1969
Michigan. He was married to Victoria Turzak.
They both immigrated to Crystal Falls, MI in 1902.
They had a total of twelve children.
C. Julia Slivensky born abt. 1881 Czechoslovakia d. 1915 Michigan
She was married to a Alex Turzak.
They had six children together according to the 1910 Census for Crystal Falls.
D. Irma (Erma) Slivensky was born abt. 1885 in Czechoslovakia d. 1979 MI
Married to August Turzak.
Irma immigrated to the US in 1906. She traveled with her cousin Cecelia Turzak.
Irma and August had three children, all died young.
E. Celia Slivensky was born abt. 1890 Czechoslovakia d. 1939 Illinois
She was married to Lajos (Louis) Matejzel.
Lajos immigrated to the US in 1910 and Celia immigrated to the US in 1912.
F. Male Slivensky (have no information about)
G. Anna Slivensky (have no other information on)
2. Susanna (Suzie) Slivensky born abt. 1855 Czechoslovakia d. 1942 Michigan
She was first married to Gustavis (August) Plichta and second she was married to Adam Bubnack (Bobonak). She had a total of five children with her first husband:
A. August Plichta b. 1878 Mlynky, Slovakia d. 1962. He was married to Phillipa
Duff. They had two childen together; August and Harold.
B. Joseph Plichta born abt. 1882 Dedinky, Slovakia d. 1977 Michigan. He was
Married to Anna Manko and they had five children together:
Phyllis, Mildred, Harry, Julia and William.
C. Maria Plichta was born abt. 1890 in Michigan and d. 1939. She married 1st to
Someone with the last name VanOrnam, then she married John S. Wilde. No children from either marriage.
D. No other information
E. No other information
3. Paul Slivensky born abt. 1865 Czechoslovakia d. 1939 Ashland, Wisconsin. He was
Married to Mary Mraz. Paul immigrated to the US in 1886. The had ten children together:
A. August Slivensky who was married to Anna Petruska
B. Marie Slivensky who was married to Frank Butzen
C. Joseph Slivensky who was married to Lillian Humble
D. Louis Slivensky who was married to Ann Cecelia Dettloff
E. Louise Slivensky (who probably never married)
F. Annie Slivensky who married someone with the last name Staren.
G. Pauline Slivensky who never married and changed last name to Slavin.
H. Child that died young

J. Paul Slivensky who married Esther Erickson and he also changed name to Slavin.
4. Johanna Slivensky born abt. 1869 Slovakia d. 1956 Crystal Falls, Michigan
She married first Joseph Gijan over in Slovakia, then she married in the US 2nd. Joseph Martan. Johanna immigrated to the US with son August in 1899. She had three children with first husband and four with second husband.
A. Leo Giyan born abt. 1889 Slovakia d. 1946 Minnesota. He was married to
Jennie Simo and they had three children: Raymond, Eugene and Jim.
B. Child, that died in Slovakia before coming to the US
C. August Gajan born abt. 1897 d. 1967 Chicago. August never married.
D. Anna Martan born abt. 1903 Mich d. 1992 Mich. She was first married to
Harry Meeker, 2nd she was married to John Visuri. She had three children:
Robert, Ernest, and Joanne.
E. John Martan born abt. 1905 Mich. d. 1985 in Illinois. Changed last name to
Martin. Never married and had no children
F. Joseph Martan born abt. 1907 Mich d. 1984 Mich. Changed last name to
Martin. He was married to Anna Margurite Davis and they had five children;
Robert, Delores, Marjorie, JoAnn and Bonnie.
G. Mary Martan born abt. 1909 Mich. d. 1911 Mich. Died young.
