This probably doesn't help, but I know of a Clara (Wood) Coleman (1836-1901) who was born in London, England. Her son immigrated to Vancouver, BC, Canada in 1913 with his wife and two daughters.
Clara (Wood) Coleman's son was Charles Edmond (possibly Edmund) Sherard Coleman, born 1858 in London, England. Charles married Mary Ridley Stennett in 1892 in London, England. I don't know how many children they had in total, but Charles and Mary and their 2 daughters (Ellen and Alice Coleman, b. 1896 & 1898) and 1 son (Frederick Warner Coleman, b. 1900) ended up in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Fred married Helen Gertrude Clark in Regina, Saskatchewan in 1925, and they had 6 children, one of whom is my grandpa.

My Wood family came from England to the US some where in the 1800's. The only name I have to go on is Michel J Wood. He was born in abt 1862 in the US. His wifes name was Sarah Kelley her date of birth was 1866. We have found her listed in1880 Cenus as a widow. I have no other informaion other what I have given you.
Oh yes. he was born in the state of Pa.
