Well, it's over a year since you posted but I have both Clarks and Kerrs in my family
My great-great-great grandpa was James Clark, born Dec 2 1836 in Wolverhampton, England. He married a Sarah Smith b. Feb 16, 1837. They immigrated to Canada (between 1865 and 1876) and James died Aug 29, 1922 in Barrie, Ontario; his wife died June 14, 1910. I have a lot of information about their children and grandchildren if you are interested (though they are mostly Canadians). I would also be interested if you knew anything about these people!
As for the Kerrs, one Dr. Archie Kerr married James Clark's great-granddaughter, Evelyn Ruth Clark, and I also have a lot of information about this side of the family (though again, I think they were Canadians)
Noticed your posting of Dr. Archie Kerr, you think from Canada. Do you have any further info on this Dr. Archie Kerr? I have a Elizabeth McDonald, married to a Archie Kerr in 1912, in Canada. This couple had children, two known of, Archie and Dorothea. Doreathea died in 1933 in Vancouver, Canada.
Elizabeth McDonald Kerr was the daughter of my g-g-grandfathers sister.
I have that Archie's wife was born in 1924, so it is probably not the same couple. Their children are Bill, Patsy, Tom, and Clark (born 1948-1954) Kerr
Do you know who the parents of Archie Kerr were? According to the info I have, Elizabeth McDonald Kerr was married in 1912, to a Archie Kerr.. They had two children, Archie and Dorethea. Dorethea died in 1933 in Vancouver, Canada, that I know of. Thanks THJ
No, I'm afraid I don't know who his parents were or even his place and year of birth. But given that this Archie's wife was quite certainly an Evelyn Clark, and born in 1924, after your Elizabeth Macdonald was married... anyway, if you are still interested about these Kerrs you can email me at scoleman90@gmail.com
